Barton Perreira Eyewear

Barton Perreira is a luxe, handcrafted eyewear company that started just three years ago.
Patty Perreira and Bill Barton made it their mission to create a line of sunglasses and reading frames that redefine luxury by blending revolutionary technology and craftsmanship within exquisite design.
Barton Perreira’s are handmade in small quantities. Because these are untouched by machinery, or mass-production, a pair of Barton Perreira frames are as distinct as the person wearing them.
We Pleaters got excited when we got a look at the new selection for Spring. Patty Perreira explained that a recent trip to Jamaica inspired the S/S 11 line, resulting in a collection that mixes a range of palliative colors.Even those of us who don’t need spectacles considered wearing them for fun.
Particularly in our eye are the Serene’s, a 70’s inspired frame that has us wishing we were decked in widelegs, strutting down the sunny streets of NYC. Their best feature is hand-painted enamel detailing, and weightless titanium frames.
Let’s stop staring and just go for it!
1. The classic “Nathanial” sunglasses. 2.The”Ridley”, a Zyl and metal frame embellished with filigree detail on the temples and with a retro-inspired bridge. 3. The “Serene”, a 70′s butterfly glam shade with enamel detailing on titanium frame. 4.The “Brasco” is a Zyl and metal frame, contoured with grille filigree textured custom eye wire and end pieces with polarized lenses for a modern take on aviator frame. 5. The “Duran” is a retro inspired Zyl frame understated classic frame for the sophisticated male or female. 6.
