WTF Wednesday: Necklace Secure Strips

Ever since we’ve begun looking for the odd and ridiculous “style” items we’ve started to wonder whether there is a community of precious people that are really just taking the piss out of us. Take these Necklace Secure Strips for example. Why would anyone feel so compelled to purchase such an item, when let’s face it, simple tape would suffice (although we don’t recommend taking this route to “place” a necklace). And to beg the... Read More

Le Smoking Slipper

It happens that even the most stylish of us feel compelled to wear our pyjamas out into actual public. Even though we would be the first to condemn those starlets that make outings in there sheep lined boots. But if you are going to wear the jammies out into the world let’s consider our underpinnings and sleepwear for a minute. Why not go for the Hemingway smoking jacket and these slick slippers? Hell, you could even wear your version of the ascot in your hair, a chic ‘Breakfast... Read More

Designer Alber Elbaz makes an dance cameo towards the end. We kind of love it. Definitely worth a watch. Video below.  Read More

Sally Lapointe’s designs especially make us want to want fly to the moon and apparently Lady Gaga agrees. The pop queen wore an intergalactic black Lapointe creation to an appearance in Vegas this past spring and since then the designer has been comissioned to custom-make pieces for Gaga. The trend sparked by... Read More

WTF? VMA Edition

We know, we know, music award shows are a time for the major artists of our time to express themselves not only with performances but with their red carpet looks. But sometimes we can’t help but feel that these over the top get-ups are more about who can get everyone to stare the longest then about actual self-representation. Or perhaps these ladies are just having a little fun playing dress up and we are all just too judgemental? Nah. These are some hot messes. Did someone... Read More
